Our Services

Business Advisory

In our view, this is the service that delivers the most value to our clients. Shane’s skills are centred around this service while Tracey has a sway towards software that lends her skills to complementing a combined “whole business view”. This is what we strive to focus on with our clients and based on their feedback, we deliver on this aspect.

Accounting

While Xero is the main software platform utilised to provide accounting services, we are also well versed in a range of other software providers. We don’t have favourites so to speak, more that the overriding mandate is to ensure that you have a system that fits your needs. This is one of our specialties in fitting you with the right system.

Software & Payroll

Software and systems is definitely Tracey’s domain. Being a qualified chartered accountant allows her to view and assess a system that not only works for the client in dealing with whatever the important aspects are, but also ensuring the financial outcomes roll out simultaneously. Taking the chaos out of your processing is the end goal with any good functioning system. Tracey also specialises in payroll intermediaries and in-house software. Whatever way you choose to deal with payroll, she’ll set you on the right path.

GST & Tax Compliance

One of the primary functions of the annual accounting function is to provide information for income tax and GST return compliance purposes. Our focus with these taxes is all about getting it right. The IRD is becoming more regimented and less lenient these days with a greater and wider scope on taxation applying to more transactions, and with greater complexity. We also have a sound understanding of the internal processes within the IRD that allows us to assist clients that sometimes find themselves in difficult tax situations.

How We Deliver Our Services

Our approach to the way we do things and how we deliver our services is just as important as what we deliver. Being authentic in what we are is of the greatest importance to us. For this reason we have adopted a policy of “What we DON’T do’s” which are the rules we live by for the positive outcomes they achieve.

We DON’T outsource your work to overseas countries with cheap labour costs. A lot of firms in this region outsource their work and this is something we don’t favour. We’re committed to having people work on your job that understand your business and can communicate with you directly.

We DON’T delegate work to staff members in a way where we lose contact with your business. We pride ourselves on being able to communicate with you personally via our entire team.

We DON’T take on clients that we don’t have an interest in. It’s easy to provide an authentic service and work with people when you’re genuinely invested in them.

We DON’T make you feel like just a number. Our entire business is built on adding that personal touch to bringing order to your financial world.

Terms and Invoicing

Understanding billing and the transparency of billing is something that is important to both us and our clients.

We are more than happy to provide you with a quoted pricing for provision of GST and your annual accounting services. A quote can be provided to you each year after we have undertaken a review of the tasks involved for the current year. This allows us to factor in upscaling and downscaling of each year’s tasks due to matters such as property transactions, debt raising and down scaling or upscaling of the size of your business operations.

We believe customised billing provides the greatest amount of fairness and value for money for our clients and that’s why it’s one of our biggest priorities.

For unique, one-off services, we can provide you with a 100% transparent breakdown of time and cost records associated with your individual advisory and software tasks.

Invoices will be generated for any work we have completed and delivered to you. Sometimes an invoice may be issued at an interim stage of the work cycle, for example when draft annual accounts have been sent for your approval and review.

Our invoices will be issued at the completion of tasks and issued on any day of the month, rather than monthly at month’s end.

If in doubt, we’re available to talk you through our processes and come up with a solution that works for you.
